I fly Jets with my X-52, but, for helos with M&k I <3 the ease of using mouse look to extend my view to 180 degrees in the cockpit and the precision control of the craft.. :D

I've tried to fly with the helicopters in PR and I shit you not, the flight model is closer to this flash game than any involving a real helicopter. Image

I don't feel like going into it because when I have before, idiots who claim to be experts but have never touched a cyclic will bow down before this flight model and claim its very realistic. The fact is, they fly like spaceships sky-high on 2 week crystal meth binge, when using a stick.

I use a stick for all my flying. Logitech Wingman Force 3D.

It's a cheap stick, got it for 6 dollars (retail it's something criminal like 60-70 dollars)

But I can fly much more precisely with it than a mouse and keyboard, and I find that the only pilots who can compete are other joystick pilots. You get more control and you can make more radical movements when the situation arises.

Just change the sensitivity in the BF2 options.

I use a logitech attack 3, and it works beautifully, in .6 I could turn better then all the other fighter pilots, and now in .7, with the helo's drop rate when you dump the collective, I get a hugely increased amount of control with my throttle than those who have to feather the S key.

As far as I remember they used to be quite commonly sold with joysticks and throttle controllers. If you turn the sensitivity up on the twist function it's not too bad.

Flight Simulators Ltd, UK - Pedals

Those guys sell them but most of them seem to be for full on flight simulators for training pilots, or just for people that really love the thrill of flying a 747 from Heathrow to JFK... Cheapest ones are over £100.

Fits with saitek x52 and other

Yea, for some reason PR helicopters don't get along with my joystick.
I got into AIX, and flew some of the helicopters they had in there with my joystick, and I was doing incredibly well, was able to pull off intense maneuvers, do quick drops, fly in a circle and shoot the same spot. PR which is suppose to be realistic I guess...the heli either handles very stiffly (apache) or very wobbly (little bird) or lags and I cant fly it (merlin)

How do you change sensitivity in BF2 options? I thought it only changes sensitivty for keyboard/mouse?
