The problem is that in real-life, you can expect these goat-herders not to open fire on you all of a sudden. In PR, the Civilians are all on the Insurgent side, and handing out a penalty for shooting someone who you know is going to shoot you...meh.

And I don't really dislike the fact that it's harder to tell them apart now. Take a moment to look at what you're firing at, it's realistic.

Would it be usefull at all..? A Brit with a knife vs an insurgent with his fists. Who would win?

Did anyone else think something completely different when they saw the title of this thread?

Completely. I was thinking either "let them drive with their knees in cars, since most civilians are good at that", or "let them do that thing that's on some YouTube video where the guy passes the gun back and forth between hands". Which would have been weird, because I think that soldiers are more ambidextrous with their weapons than civilians are with their stone throwing.

is there a way to make it civ's have ak's and if there shot with a full clip and ammo they are civis but if they shoot they are insergies ?

In time of war, in a un-controled area, every single person who have a weapon is considered hostile. So he got 2 option drop weapon and put he's hands up or shoot at soldier and die... (Since is illegal to shoot an unarmed person)

And no is not possible to have ROE like in America's Army ( in that game if you kill a friend or a civilian you're send straigt up to jail. lol.

obviously OP doesn't know about the absoulutely 1337 iraqi civilian task force that uses rocks as it's standard issue weapon due to reliability, low weapon maintenance and ease of manufacture and blends in civilians.

I'm all for a barehands kit. Then we can have even more awesome cage fights

If there was ever one unrealistic feature i wanted to be added to PR, it would be a message coming up whenever you got hit by a rock in the face saying "OWNED". Pissing the GB players off is too much fun.

Maybe we should just give them a pistol or something but make it REALLY inacurate, prone to jams AND with only one extra clip. Or even a rusty old knife, OR PROPOGANDA!!!

Or maybe not

i think they should give civilians the power to shout profanity at the US or Uk soldiers in English with a middle eastern accent.

Now that would be great

Imo, I think they're fine as it is, and the devs have other stuff to work on.

or something along them lines i cant quite remember it word for word from my alpha card, but basicly what it meens is if a bunch of teenage yobs are throwing stones off you, you are not aloud to shoot them since that is a bit ott, but you can use force to a certain degree to stop them doing it, and that doesnt meen taking them into a back ally and kicking the **** out of them when you have a news crew following you.
