I liked both maps, even despite Phoenix's problems. They'll be back along with Muttrah eventualy :D

To fix Phoenix, I think the Americans need to attack from multiple directions. Remember the small town and road along the east of the map? Place a spawn area there with some jeeps and maybe one APC, and have the US convoy in from multiple places.

I think to balance helmand more we need 2 Apaches, 2 challengers and a couple of JDAMs for the British.

Helmand needs to be made a little bit bigger and have more varied terrain.

man, helmand was just fine, but it is only playable with 16-32 players(just like street playes fine with 16 players), 64 are simply to much, any heavy assetts would ruin it completly

Yes I think updated versions would be great and hopefully the devs will now be aware that we do like them and do some work towards realeasing in a later version. Oh and has Streets been taken out as well? I loved that also.

They felt you would rather walk miles and count trees.

Haha but they are such good looking trees!

Problem is that there aren't really any servers for less than 64 players out there, and big maps are just more realistic and offer more options to players, simulating a natural environment better. Making a map the size of helmand is significantly easier than making one like quinling, so if the DEVs thought that was the best choice they would certainly be doing it.
