Yay, this will go a long way towards making this kit usable as a sabotage kit, love the 4 slams idea, now I can take out 2 apc's instead of 1 1/2. And a C4? Fantastic.

Personally I would have gone for a grappling hook over a parachute... Is it possible to do what you do with the engy kit? Grappling hook on maps without transport birds and parachute on maps with?

Woah... Everyone get ready for 0.71b, cause its gonna be a freakin mad rush to get this new kit. Silenced weapons, SLAM's, C4, AND the return of parachutes? I think... yes... I'm sure of it...

halo dropping squads is going to be a huge pain in the *** since there are only 2 spec ops kits per side. :D

As for who ever mentioned that they should have body armor, well they have. At least that's what I've been told. :D

at alst i wont have to land a blackhawk under fire for guys to get out woho, no more riskign my life as much and get otu with the chopper jsut smoking, whats next an airborne drop map liek airport in 0.5

* Specialized Kits - 2 of each kit avaliable

Specialized Kits
* Sniper
* Anti-Tank
* Special Operations
* Anti-Aircraft
There could only be two guys getting halo dropped into out of the whole team, as opposed to a whole squad.

And before you go on about getting a pilot kit (3rd person) to set a rally point, the SL has to be an Officer, and therefore, no RP's behind enemy lines.

Two questions.

1. Parachute, will it be single use? or you can use it all the time like in vanilla?

2. Can you make two different versions of Spec Ops, like you did with the engineers? First type with a grappling hook (without the parachute) for some urban maps, and the second type with parachute (without the grappling hook) for any other maps? (this question may sounds like quite stupid but I'm just curious about the possibility).

Don't think we can limit it, but I doubt you'll see players using it more than once since you have to be a few hundred meters in the air for it to work.

I don't get it. You don't want the kit to be used as a regular rifleman. That's fine but why are you giving the spec ops so much ammo if the carbine is meant to be used in self defense only? Give it 3+1 it's more than enough IMO.

And if the spec ops kits is supposed to be special then make it look like it especially the US one b/c right now it looks like a baby sitter (other factions are quite fine). IIRC the Navy Seal faction uses the same player models as USMC in vBF2/PR. Why not just give the USMC/US Army spec ops a Navy Seal spec ops kit geometry? I'm sure it would work fine.

i thnk they still do, this is just a list of changes to the 0.7 SF kit

and i can see why they removed the bangs, it special forces, not counter-terrorist
also im surprised, but far from dissapointed, that the parachutes are now available

i think i can see the paradrops of Muttrah coming back
