Wow, some parts of the map are really RPG/Adventure-ish somehow - in a fantastic way! And i said it, moving clouds + plane static = fun

Community mod section = Best idea PR devs ever had. I'm amazed it is as slow post-wise as it is.

It hasnt been slow post wise at all. Only some community mods havnt been updating, the rest have been really active.

Well russia vs. militia i guess is the idea? Though russia vs. MEC will be VERY interesting with similar styles of tanks to play with.

considering china is one of russia's closest allies and their largest arms customer, that wouldnt make sense either. if we do have Russia vs PLA then i dont see any problem with USA vs GB or Germany vs IDF
russia should either be against NATO countries or militia who would represent chechnyans, anything else would be entirely unrealistic.

i know! what if a neo nazi assumes power in Germany and attacks Poland and Isreal! or America invades Canada for natural resources! or the Insurgents decide to invade the MEC! i mean, its in the near future and anything can happen...
also since it is set in the near future we should include metal storm and every bloody weapon, vehicle and equipment from that dreaded show futureweapons.
fact is, everyone keeps dreaming about these 'what if' scenarios that they kinda lose the whole point of the mod, REALITY. that also includes realistic interpretations of relationships between countries.
i also suspect that since there aernt that many Chinese and Russian players people think its ok to make these bs scenarios because there wouldnt be enough people from those reigons to care.

I want to see a massive combined arms battle set in Antartica - USMC + GB + PLA + RUSSIA + MEC against PENGUINS.
Will I see it in-game? Sigh. (Devs have said it's too much effort to make winter cammo/skins for all the new anti-penguin coallition troops.)
And that about sums up the faction stuff - just be happy with whatever comes along, ey guys? We all have our pet wants, some of them will never be in-game. Just enjoy enjoy what is?

If all these community mods are incorporated into PR, how many maps will there be? And would that cut back on the number of USA, MEC, and GB maps?
If a good deal of the normal maps are going to be swapped out, or if there are going to be the same number of community and PR maps, I don't get the idea. Not to bash anyone's hard work, but I wouldn't really consider the Polish, German, and Canadian armies and such to be major players in large-scale world conflicts. For instance, right now Poland has 163,000 active troops, Germany has 250,000. Compare that to the US's 1,426,713 active and 1,458,500 reserve troops and the PLA's 2,250,000 active troops.
Unless the mods plan to have only a few maps with only a few tickets on each side, I don't understand how it will work.

Im sure they'll focus on quality not quanity. 163,000 is enough to single handedly fight a battle, thats all we're doing in PR.
Nobody is saying Poland is about to invade Iraq but their troops are there
British army is only 100k apparently and they are played in vanilla and the mod

Canada has 65,000 Active troops right now(give or 10, 000 (I dont Know the exact numbers)or so and just counting the full time Army men probably another 80,000 in reserves) But If war was declared our forces would more than likely quadruple in the first day of war being declared.
So in Pr If Canada is fighting PLA Most likely war has been Declared Thus meaning the ary will grow Basically Overnight. Not to mention Usually if the Uk goes to war Canada will Have there backs especially if US and Uk go to war!
Also are forces all have the same training as 1st tear American special forces. And Canada isent like the us going to war every 10 years or so we don't need a huge army. Numbers do count for alot but I think Training Counts for Alot too. Better trained troops mean they will fight Harder and Smarter. Like in 300 300 Amazingly Trained Spartans Kicked the **** out of the Persians. But I guess if you have 100,000 Troops with the best Training against 800,000 troops with minimal training they will win because of sheer numbers so I guess it all depends on the situation.

I'm just wondering how it will work in the mod, especially with the number of maps. Even if total war was declared, I can't imagine Poland or somesuch invading the middle-east or china against an overwhelming large conventional force, besides providing support.
The main difference between the British and Canadian forces is that the British are (comparatively) often deployed into combat.

Who is saying about wars of one country against another???? What do you need numbers for??
We are fighting battles in PR not wars! So to be in a battle its enough to support a bigger army. Like US in a war against terrorism.
And what about british? There's lots of maps with british... and do they have enough "numbers" to fight such a conflict? I suppose not. So I dont know whats all the talk about.
