x2 Equal them(Lower iron sights weapons recoil as it was in previous versions)
And again. The question in the poll is wrongly formulated

It's the same gun but with optics so why make the recoil any different?

Equal for both.
Although, maybe ever so slightly less for scoped one, because of the extra weight that comes from the scope

So with irons recoil = 1
With optic, recoil = .999999
That's noticeable
It would be interesting to know how much effect the scope has on perceived recoil. An ACOG weighs 15 ounces, and on a 10 pound rifle that's a decent weight addition.

I have created this poll because I, and I believe I wasn't the only one, felt that the previous poll (that can be found
here) was missing quite important option for equal recoil.

no. why are they different anyhow? zoom would not make a difference in the recoil. c'mon. IRL scope or no scope the recoil is the same.

I'd prefer it equal. But it doesnt really matter that much.
I understand that its less atm, because the recoil can only be simulated in 2D, not in 3D. It cant go back, into the soldiers shoulder. So it has to go up - higher than IRL. So for balance its less for scopes. Understandable. Still, equal would be good.

they should be equal. Why would they be different. And please dont come with that cr*p-o-la about "its zoomed in so...blah blah blah...). if you have actually fired a weapon, you'll know that scope or no scope, recoil is recoil.
yeah.

Equal. Anything else is unrealistic. The recoil will "feel" larger as the scope magnifies the image by 4x, so movement is exaggerated by 4x.
Make it realistic and let the players get used to it. It'd also be good to get more people using the weapons with open sights.

Agree
However, didn't the testers hate it?

Nubs.
Realism over...happy joy kill kill scoped rifleman.
Take that recoil ******. Open up the potential of non scoped classes

When a scope it on the top of the weapon it is heavier, and realisticly the ironsights should be slightly lighter, so slightly less recoil, and for the record, when you use an MG in prone in the game you get a greatly reduced recoil, so why not the same for other rifles? and dont say there is...because i checked, and there isnt

There has to be some kind of combat - not kit - disadvantage for wielding the 20/30-round, unlimited DMR that is the scoped rifle. I don't know what that disadvantage could be, but it should not be recoil - as has been said above, recoil is recoil, disregarding the weight of the scope and other little excuses to reduce scoped recoil.

There didn't need to be another damn poll, the recoil should act realistically no matter what the votes say, the mod is called project reality. Waste of space.

i think that if the recoil for the scoped and unscoped became the same then it would make the scope better for long range targets but close range would get hurt due to the bigger recoil, this would give iron sights a little better chance.
