Re: [TASK] IFAV
*bumpage*
Is there anyone who'd like to step forward and finish this model? The model itself is almost done, just needs some polishing maybe.
After that, there's the beauty of uv-mapping, texturing and importing

They're called Mercedes-Benz 290GDs, not IFAVs. And they're not just in use with SF. The Bushmaster is an IMV, which is a different class.

Excuse me for providing you with the correct information, which is pretty essential in a Project Reality Mod.KingLorre wrote:May i ask you where you get your information from, caus you seem to know everything better.

And who is that? If he called it an IFAV, then he's plain wrong. Being in active service doesn't make one an all-knowing oracle on everything military related.black-wolf wrote:Excuse me, but we have someone in active army. And I trust his information more then yours.

Guys, let's keep it civil, yes? (before this gets out of hand and people get the wrong idea or start saying things they shouldn't...)
Thanks
Thanks

My apologies, I just came here with the intention to add to the development of the mod, but evidently my info (which is easily verifiable by the way) is not appreciated because I don't have a fancy signature or something.[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:Guys, let's keep it civil, yes? Re: [Vehicle] IFAV
Kind of obvious that it's an MB (thats the term.) but you should also know that IFAV is an general word for these vehicles too.
We're not retarded, and check the DATE of your information, as it is out-dated.
Thank you,
Martin.

IFAV is the name of the American version of the 290GD, not a term depicting a 4x4 "jeep".Celica` wrote:Kind of obvious that it's an MB (thats the term.) but you should also know that IFAV is an general word for these vehicles too.

LKW gl leicht Wolf / Interim Fast Attack Vehicles (IFAV)
The Marine Corp's Interim Fast Attack Vehicle (IFAV) is a DaimlerChrysler model of the Mercedes-Benz MB 290 GD 1.5 ton truck off-road vehicle built as the Wolf Gelaendegaengige Kleinfahrzeuge {small all terrain vehicle} for the German Bundeswehr.

Just like a Type 56 is not the same as an AK-47.
