What to do when in this position?

Personally I would try to think what would seem logical/common to do if I was the other guy and plan from there.

This situation happens a lot to me for some reason. I can't throw a frag cause i'm usually a medic. Lately I been rushing the enemy when this happens but I always get killed by his squad, I think I will try to flank him and shoot him from a distance.
