another annoying thing is that providing fire cover is iffy at best, both because they are not doing enough at the moment to compell the supressed enemy to hide, and also because as mentioned in this thread you don't have that many mags to spend. Pinning a guy to his cover for 1 minute, costed me over 2 mags if i want to make sure he stay put. In the end i used support class more often than not because i kept running out of mags.

Just as a side note, when people say "more realistic" well it does bother me a bit
because they are talking of making one precise thing more "real" without taking into account how it will be felt in the game.
This is a project to have the whole game FEAL real not jsut adding bits and bits of "real" stuff. You have to keep in mind that putting one "real" thing in the game might just end up making the whole thing not real at all.
its just a matter of balance , mmore ammo ? les ammo ? i really dont care as long as the general feeling of the game is realistic.
because lets get really REAL here, in real life you dont spawn, you get scared, you have to take a leak, you shit on yourself, you feel pain, and you die period.
So lets please keep this in mind when suggesting stuff.

on a more personal level, i'm pretty much ok with having more ammo as it will make possible covering fire and such. but in that case yes you also have to limit the ammo given by the support class (either him or a having a new class guy doing the job ) without the magic thrown bag witch will replenish all your stock ;)

Cover fire is very underutilized in this mod, at least in the games I've played. My first "this mod is awsome" moment was when I had a guy pinned down for a few minutes with saw fire. Even with an assualt rifle you can effectively make an enemy dive to cover and stay there until they stop hearing your bullets blasting their cover. With 2 or 3 guys with lmg's focusing their fire onto a flag they could potentially keep a large amount of players stuck behind cover. While this happens a squad or two good sneak around and flank the enemy taking them by surprise.

I've not seen this happen yet, though I've been in a squad that outflanked an enemy that was very occupied with defending in one direction in karkland.
