Love the photo. But after carefully studying the in game one and the OG, i think i prefer the original, with the detail on the whole body of the soldier, body armour, camo and face being much more visible. Otherwise the whole image except for a small patch of sand all being blurred. I find it is the contrast between the semi detailed single soldier and blurred mass soldiers and heli in the back ground that make the image interesting. When, all becomes blurred i believe the image looses most of what makes its special.

However I commend you, UK_Force, for finding and choosing this particular great image, and i totally agree with you that it strongly depicts realism, great find and hope you understand where i am coming from.

EDIT.......appear i cant edit above post but after spending more time looking at both i am thoroughly stuck. I take most of what i said back. I really dont know...both look great anyhow.

great picture! its more...peaceful then the last one. Also, are there plans to change the "toxic piss yellow" theme for the text and border and change it to a more friendly color like a gray or light red, maybe a light bronze to fit that picture?

Very nice photo, much more meaningful than the previous menu screen.
