Yes, as I said it is a tool in the box (selected based on METT) for the Scout-Snipers at the moment, but the M14 DMR's are very high maintenance and the Marines were looking to replace them. Right now the M14s seem to be mainly used by MP SRT marksman observers, and designated marksmen in Security Forces companies (including FAST) and MSG detachments, but the Mk-11 may eventually get to them, too.

would be cool, if we when we get the ARMY, one US faction could stay with the M-14 and the other one get a MK-11/MK-12 or any other AR-10/-15 deviant.

from your posts, it looks like the us is trying to replace the m14 with the mk11, and if pr is based on the near future, why not put it in?
