??:. so, yeah... just giving you the heads up
Mounting your game on a virtual drive is not illegal, it is also not illegal to use no cd cracks etc. It only becomes illegal, and hence a matter for the mods here when people are discussing how to get a cracked copy of the game to work and run.

Im sure with some games, if you use a No-CD key, it blocks it from using Multiplayer-Modes, just a warning

If you use no-CD crack in games protected by at least a bit intelligent anti-cheat you will get kicked for WhatYouReplacedByNOCD.exe mismatch.
The discussions about no-CD and mini-image are allowed as it's nothing illegal. You can't install the game from it. It just fools the CD protection to think that the CD/DVD is in a drive, while in fact it isn't. Good for saving your discs from scratching.
Besides, BF2 disk is famous for its 'explosive content'...

it would also take about 20x more time than downloading a mini-image
it would also take about 2 GB (not sure on the exact amount) of space when a mini-image takes about 10 MB.
as for instructions:
1. download daemon tools
2. install daemon tools
3. download bf2 mini-image (
GameCopyWorld - Mirrors - No-CD, No-DVD Patches, Game Fixes, Trainers & Cheats)
4. mount the image with daemon tools. (right click -> choose "virtual cd/dvd rom" -> choose any device -> mount image. Then just choose the bf2 image and you are done.
ohh and if there is some kind of a problem with starting the game then right click -> emulation -> all options on.
thanks a lot man, now my BF2 complete collection is save, but i did it like this:
1. download daemon tools
2. install daemon tools
3. download Alcohol 52%
4. install Alcohol 52%
5. Created the image from my BF2 DVD (MDF - 4,56 GB), (MDS - 9 KB)
6. Mount the image with daemon tools. (right click -> choose "virtual cd/dvd rom" -> choose any device -> mount image. I chose my BF2 image and done.

Ok, I got the right mini-image files. I figured out that I needed WinRAR to extract them from .rar files. I mounted it up and now I can play PR again. Only 1 Question though, will this affect my gameplay; or will it be jsut like before?

i have modified the mini image so with pressing alt-f4 u get a M82 on every map.
to be serious, its no difference in gameplay at all !

Well, When I extract the image file I get 2 seperate files. MDF and MDS, what do it do with them. I mounted the MDF and it work once then I have to extract another time and remount. What do I do now?

mount the mds and you are fine. the mds just "controls" the mdf file, so just make sure that the mds and the mdf file are in the same directory. keep it mounted all the time and make sure that daemon tools start up with windows (i think thats on on default).
