Change MEC iron sight rifleman from G3 to some other weapon.
Get rid of all the others, because scopes are so common now.
In game we can't simulate the down side of scopes -- fragility.

This in itself balances out quite nicely IMO. The reduction in recoil, when zoomed, is what gives the scoped rifles the upper hand. If this is changed I don't think there will be such a problem.
I agree with Nedlands1 its balanced in this sense, close urban combat vs. open field combat! Looking down field thru a scope, you might not see the enemy running 100m to your left! It all balances out! IMO!

X2 to both of you. I wonder what the reason was for the decreased recoil on scoped rifles, but maybe giving them similar recoil is whats needed? Idk, I cant really say as I dont know the reasoning behind it
Good first post, and welcome to the forums

Can someone explain why we need to have people using iron sights? Whats the point?

Iron sight rifleman is fine, if you want to use it, use it. If you don't, then DONT! No one is forcing you to do so.

Give Him a few claymors that are manualy detonated and them back every thing is good. I wish I had a $ for every time I could have used a claymore

But seriously... To those who argue that the scope limits visibility. Remember that only applies to when you are actually looking through the scope. Frankly, anyone who is sitting looking through their scope long enough to get flanked by someone just a few degrees outside their scoped vision deserves to get shot. But that is not enough to say that it balances the Scope with the Irons. If anything its the Irons that have worse visibility. With them you cannot see your actual target unless it is directly in the sights or you look at the ground and see over the sights, which in real life, would be your peripheral vision, and not where you would be concentrating your attention.
I'll say it again, remove the bags from scopes.

X2 We need to get the claymores back! They would fit in perfectly with the slower gameplay of 0.7/0.75!

Would make the Iron Sights more useful in urban environments.
Other than that, Ill have to think.
And yes, I read your post.
p.s. I heard it already supplies more ammo than the Scoped ammo bag does.
I have been wondering the day .75 came out, what on earth can you breach with a slug shotgun in this game???
