According to what ive read the Bölkow squadron no longer exists they sold most of them to private company's but few remain mothballed.

So they are not going to be used.

(just think it might be a good tactic)
The Dutch Bolkows could be armed with miniguns but yeah like others said, no longer in service. :(

Problem is guys for smaller maps we need a light transport chopper, there are 2 options the Bo-105 or the Marine Lynx. And since the Lynx is being replaced 1 at a time by the NH-90 NFH and the NFH TTH is to big for smaller maps and cant really scout... Think game play wise on this one.

realysticness first.

Than no scout helo's for smaller maps.

the dutch scout vehicle is the Fennek, what we all allready know and what Celica` allready said.

So when we want a scout vehicle, we send in the fennek or a apache.

Like i said earlier its about the transport part, the fennek isnt fast enough and cant drop Airmobile, and the Apache is a Attack helicopter and for balancing issues not suitable to be a scout helo and cant transport people.

As an ex 11th AMB,

You walk more than you sit in a helicopter!
And in Afghan, we are mostly on foot or with LSV's and Bushmasters.

Oh, and the Fennek can go up to 120 km/h's..

that little helo is pretty deadly.

The HOT anti tank missiles dont impress me they are wire guided.

What does impress me is the small size and the ability to fly into a forrest, popup above the trees and pack a mean punch.

that scene where they fly into the forest, pivot around and then fly up was some crazy good piloting. I could just see someone doing that on OGT with a merlin and then boop, the tail section clips a tree.
