Yeah, Rockstar sucked with their port to PC of GTA IV, still, blizzard is there making good stuff, and not ripping people off.

Shame they made WoW...

Chances are, reading through this thread, that you are wasting your time. Sorry m8.

The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

I've contacted EA online support once (sort of..) and my issue got solved.

The problem was my BF2 didn't show up on EA Download Manager. It took me several weeks and numerous emails when I had to explain my problem over and over again and try their useless solutions - as the problem wasn't in my end - but after I had climbed up all the support levels I finally reached a person with enough knowledge and powers to enable my BF2 copy in EADM.

YMMV, though.

I know bashing EA is currently all the rage, but I have to give their player support department credit for fast action on a clan mates recent points restoration. He sent in the request and it was taken care of the next day.

let us not forget... without EA --> no BF2 --> no PR

I only had to contact them once but to be honest their service was one very quick (couple of days I think) and two answered a pretty techy question pretty helpfully, got the problem sorted straight after. Doesn't mean I don't abhor the ****s still though :p

i contacted EA support at least 16 times, they answerd and helped all my questions, got a few people globally banned for cheating and fixed my graphics issue pretty quickly...

this was in 2005 though.....

I contacted EA numerous times for numerous problems, each one got an answer which fixed the problem. The support itself is not actually that bad...

Dead right about their service, and company as a whole. Red Alert 3 (I tried the beta) and Spore both got the "BANNED" list from me because they both had SecuROM...bad choice EA, as this shows. They will never get it until a decent company (I know several) comes along and wipes them out, or if the lower companies wise up and stop being assimilated into the cloud of junk known as EA.

I am sure if they would know how to help you they would do so, its no problem to type 2 paragraphs. I personally have got no idea how to help you.

On-topic: As soon as you buy their product you are just another mortal for them.

Lolz... you guys really think EA is different!

Only reason EA is on focus here is that they publish BF2. Except for that you'll read the same complaints just about on any other major publishers forums too.

Not saying that I agree with EA's crappy support but it's the same deal with the others - They want your money short term. There's little long term thinking since there's always a new game on it's way and new gamers.

Sad though :(
