ok, I think I have enough info to make another test animation.
Just one more thing, Is the sound anything I have to worry about (it will be out of sync if I redo the animation)

its the 'bolt release catch' if you going on about what i think you are, asit releases the bolt from its with held position letting the springs shove it back forward

yeah that it is, and please can you redo the LSW one after this if you have time, cos atm its hooorrrribbble!! When he wiggles the magazine, its against thin air!!!!

the LSW is generally horible all round compared to our other weapons
the LSW thou will use the same animations as these, unless new ones are made

PR made some SA80 models before BF2 was released, the only one of thous models to make it ingame was the current LSW model you know today. It was decied before v0.4's release to remake all the SA80 models from scratch as they where not upto scratch.
The link above is to the new LSW model based off our current L85A2 model, ie, it has the same quality level as the other guns in PR.
The current LSW is a place holder, and when that new LSW is 100% finished and ingame, it will use the same animations as the other L85A2s, with maybe a slightly different deploy animation for the bipod.
There is no pointing in making new animations for something that is a place holder and we plan to replace.

Please man help the team out with animations!!!! I couldnt get the stupid friggin things to work in maya or gmax so I gave up. UNtil I can convince my parents to let me have 3DSMax I'm out of the race

aaha i see, so its the new one is a WIP, and when it comes out will be replaced with good animations etc! and cut me some slack, it was 2:30 in the morning!!
