[DM] will stack teams, but thats because we want to play together. However its just 6 guys usually, and if on a server like Tcombat where there is 25 vs 15, we usually switch to the team with the least ammount of players.

Speaking for myself I will switch teams to be with friends, clanmates, random people I enjoy playing with, or if my current team is glaringly incompetent. I play for my own enjoyment, I don't much care how much fun YOU are having.
Why? PR is still a game, something that is meant to be enjoyed. If I'm not enjoying the game there is no real purpose behind playing it. That and I'm an *******. =D

A game that is ment to be enjoyed by
ALL, not just you.. you're not an *******, just self-centred and immature.
Everyone switches to join their mates.. but to switch cos your team is lacking skill or unity.. is sad... why not help them kinote.

I second that motion.
I am self -centered but I don't see how maturity plays into this.
I never agreed to help you play or in any way aid you in your enjoyment of the game to my own detriment.
If you have a moron CO and a few "uber strategery" SL who are all ready to take that next flag, as soon as somebody else takes the flag before that, and you have the clan based "scout-snipers" wandering off in left field who won't contribute because they just know they can turn the tide by hiding 25% of your teams strength in woods somewhere.
Why not jump to the other team and get a crappy round over with as fast as possible ?
If you think that is self-centered and immature you have a GIANT surprise for you when you get out in the real world.

As awesome as I am, I simply lack the skills that would have to border on nothing short of resembling divine intervention to upgrade their chances to "Not a hope in hell". I mean, it looks pretty easy on paper and all. Thirty two people, thirty rounds to a magazine, grenades should take out a few clusters, and the day is saved. If PR had a system of Killing = Win, I'd be in business. Unfortunately I require a team to support me to capture and hold flags, something one man simply can't do. It's as if somebody were bitching at a paramedic for not helping an individual who hurled themselves out of an airplane at 30,000 feet. Some things are just beyond hope. =/

What he said. We need to have that inserted into the EULA or perhaps on a fancy plaque.

Just don't forget that if the experienced players only play together the new people wont learn as fast or perhaps at all. Personally I prefer some intelligent resistance when playing and i don't mind being on the losing side as long as there is some good teamwork. I prefer to have fun with others rather than on the expense of others.

You literally disgust me. PR since .7 has way too many people with your mentality wrecking the game. You sir, are a ridiculous moron, and need to stick to Halo. Vanilla BF2 may even be too advanced for your self centered ***.
I have rationalized the team switching issue in my own mind. I am always a squad leader, and I always make sure my squad of 6 are doing their jobs at all times. We can't however turn the tide of a battle with a stacked team bearing down on us, so we just do our best until they bleed our side out of tickets. I miss the good old days of 4 hour firefights

I would think that in PR, the number one reason that players will desire so highly to switch sides and play with their friends is because most of those groups will be using a voice program like Teamspeak or Ventrillo, or even the in-game chat. People that are close and know each other well tend to work better in the same squad, and not allowing a group of friends to play in the same squad is going to push those people away from PR.

I'm 35 years old.. i know what the REAL world is all about.
You both have a rotten attitudes.
With maturity comes empathy and understanding. Clearly kinote and yourself have little of either. It seems obvious that with maturity you might be less self centred, generally empathy increases with age and maturity, but there are always exceptions.
If you are having a horrid time being owned by a better team, rather than swiching and just making the situation worse, why not go to another server?

Winning, like losing, is a team effort. Perhaps you have the ability to strike your entire team with an epiphany that dicking around is bad and show them the error of their ways, thus bringing everyone together to fight the enemy and sing camp songs. I, being merely superhuman lack this.
If I can enjoy myself by switching to the other team, what motivation is there for me to hop out of the server, find another one, reload, and have a pretty good chance of going through the same damned thing? Assuming another server is available in the first place. None. I don't care about you and your enjoyment, remember?

Ah, you must be as immature as us. You clearly don't see where we are coming from and are not very understanding of my apathetic view. See what I did there? That shit can go both ways. =D

I think it is fairly easy to understand you. I see it in black and white.
Nice hole, keep digging.

I spend money, I buy game, I download mod, I install mod.
I do these things not to make the others on the server happy, I do it to enjoy myself. To me, getting slaughtered because the rest of the team are all magnetic equals and therefore can't seem to stick together to do anything, while the other side works well, is not enjoyment.
On the other hand, watching my team steamroll the enemy, is.
The way I see it, the enemy team is losing because they have many **** players. These players will (if they have sense) leave when they get massacred, causing autobalance to kick in and move people from the good side, gradually equalising the skill disparity. If I get switched, fine, I'll play until I get too frustrated. I ain't gonna switch to a clearly shit side just because it's not enjoyable for them to get killed. If they wanted to win, they can work together. A team of shite players will defeat a few individual 'elites' easily.

Seriously that's a horrible definition. Team stacking in the only logical terms is putting more players on one team than another. If one team is better than another then that is why they win. I'm sick of whiners who can't stand to lose one game (play dystopia hl2 mod and you'll see what I mean). Anyway if people stack teams with numbers then agree, otherwise it's not unfair in any way.

Go to TB server when the other team is full of TB, LP and friends and you'll get stomped round after round. Tried it 3 nights in a row and that's enough for me.
