If they do hotfix BF2 after PRMM hotfix, Don't install BF2 hotfix. Just wait till PRMM.3 to do it. In my mind, you would have no reason to play vanilla, if you have PRMM.

Wow, cool video. I had been wondering why I saw missiles spinning around wildly on that map. That's why I prefer guns.

Well I wonder what happens when a fully loaded friendly BlackHawk gets nearby. I like the new missile locking and seeking though it feels much more realistic.

As downright amusing the new missile physics (if you can call it that) are, I really am dissapointed that the missiles were not fixed in a proper manner. At the moment they simply "spaz out." When I re-worked the missiles mine looked realistic with smooth arcing trajectorys and were realistically accurate. All without any crazyness.

[Edit] I just looked over the files, and whatever they did was hard-coded. There are no outstanding changes from 1.12 to 1.2 to the missiles.

i believe the error is due to the new handleing of the missiles. i believe people have reported in this thread and others that the missiles can now do 90 degree turns and i belive that this is whan causes them to stay in the flame as before they used to pass through it and carry on but now they continue to track it as thier manuverability has been increased rediculouslyauseing them to spin in side the flame.

Well that is what i believe to be the explanation to the problem.

More insane missle mayhem. THEY DO CORKSCREWS! AROUND A HELICOPTER!!!

OMG it looks like random **** trying to fly around in Gary's Mod for HL2... these missles are officially FUBAR.

Did anyone think that the missles were HEAT SEAKING? And they follow a HEAT SOURCE?

by Wolfmaster
[sarcasm]Yeah, but now we have acrobatic heat-seeking missiles! Maybe we ought to add a score system. Whoever gets their missiles to make the most corkscrews gets points![/sarcasm] ;)
