Look nice Pride,
Perhaps H.M.S. can use it in the big map concept for Kandahar International Airfield for the Dutch faction?

A bit off topic Pride, but some other statics which are not in the files, but could be used on almost any map are :
Generic control panel - ie lots of buttons and dials
Computer + Monitor - I refuse to use a TV !
Fence slope connectors - atm you cant build perimeter fences unless its the same height ! A corrugated/wire fence connector, with the middle going down at 45 degrees would be extremely useful
Pipework long lengths + bundles - The dice 50m and 30m lengths are screwed, so you need to connect loads of shorter ones. Also some bundled double runs, with say the occassional "T" connector would be very useful as well.
Just some ideas anyway

Thanks for the info spacemanc, i may try some of those when i finish the airfield statics.
Nice job Will your radar be a large control tower type rather then the smaller portable type we have now
Dunno, probably a medium sized rotating dish one.
What would be nice would be a bomb cart with a paveway waiting to be loaded onto a typhoon
hehe, i'm planning on making some of those as soon as i finish these.
Anyway, Update.
I managed to complete UVing and texturing (well colour and detail anyway) of the 8 light version and have exported it to the Editor. Haven't made any bump or specular maps yet. Textures need work too, look a bit rubbish:
However, unfortunately i screwed up the modeling of the lights, so they look ****:
So i'm gonna have to re-model those, and redo the UVs and stuff, but it shouldn't take too long.

It's a start! Not to try and get you to do a half arsed job to get it done quicker, but since they're background object's they don't need to be THAT pretty do they?

obviously you are one to never have heard the term "Immersion"
=D Which i probably spelled wrong... oh well XD
It's a sense that you actually feel like your their.
Asking if these need to look that pretty is like asking if smoke needs to look smoky.
Which would look more dangerous:
(attatched below)
in the end, moral of the story, pretty = real | real = awesome | awesome = Project Reality

I have no clue but anything that can bring about this level of awesomeness to an airfield needs to be used =D
Custom Stats for the win!

Quick someone make a map where we can cat-launch off carriers so we can implement those blast deflecters.
Btw, those statics are sexy.

Real life ain't pretty!

You misused "their" as "there" too
Anyway all I meant was the texture doesn't need to be up to the same standard as a MBT or a enterable building or anything since the only time your gonna be remotely close to any of them is when your flying a jet, in which case you won't actually be that close anyway. Not saying that he shouldn't make the texture better, just not something that needs to be perfect or anything.
