A set of Headgear with a mic can be bought for as little as £1 ($2), Not great quality but hey for £1?
So I can not understand why Gamers don't have them?
But if guys really don't want to talk (and that is your choice of course) - then when you are in the lounge you will have to have a set time/Round on when you will join, or have another system in use, which will be arranged once you are in your team.
Bear in Mind also - That there will be NO In-game Text at all for players, less admin/server to run the tournament.

Well sadly this poor gamer still lives with his parents, one of which is snoring very loudly in the next room and the main reason I cant shout orders around at the usual gaming times. I could of course whisper them, but a Swede whispering in broken english? Horrible thought!
But if we cant even use ingame chat maybe its a little too serious for me (not that I ever chat alot, its BF after all). Not even squad chat?

I understand the "noise" issue.
Text will be discussed when we get a feel for it - in the tournament forums

Well, I do have one of those **** headset/mics and it works, the only problem is that nobody can hear me because it is ****. I'll mess with it and try to get it to work, hopefully I can find a fix.

If I join this league, would I have to listen to an armchair commando shout orders to me?
Very nice first post Argyll - and welcome to the Forum !!
Squad Leaders will be decided by Commanders - and I am sure we ALL are
"armchair commandos" when we play these "games" ?

Well, doesnt all the good armchair commandos need a plethora of rag-tag disorganized enemies to fight against?
Maybe someone should start a cannonfodder squad. Send them in first and confuse the enemy by complete dissarray, then send in the good squads to mop up and revive all the dead cannonfodder littering the ground

In this instance real military expirience isnt required altho those with military expirience typically do well, anyone can be a good leader in a tournament Ive know some 16 year olds that are good at it. Itll be up to Force and Dedmon to make sure they choose them wisely

Oh i am looking forward to this, one question i do have is (guess what it is) Will vehicles be allowed? such as Aircraft? or this restricted to primarily infantry battles?
I am willing to restrict my bombing runs on a need be basis if it is required
I really dont mind which side im on, but until PR adds in the F-16 and F-15C, i just gotta use the Mig-29

I am hoping for infantry battles only because it lends to actual teamplay and tactics.
I know vehicles such as bombing can be used well but not currently I think its not balanced with vehicles.
