Thats why BF2 is a good game for Role Playing Game, You have tactics and Action but with a story based on who wins certain battles.
We would have to make the tickets really really long, so the game lasts for more then 30-1 hour like 12 hour game where when you quit its still going for others to join and be apart to. Then whoever wins that 12 hour game would push the oposing force to the next map, and if the op-for pushes them back to the same map but maybe with destroyed buildings and stuff... then the story would progress as enemys are defeated.

Not a bad idea - but the maps would need to be fairly big, like Operation Flashpoint, and it would need a lot of people both to play and be ready to play.

Not nessasarily that big, because once the team wins the "round" another map loads that is just as big, you might be thinking "one map for 12 hours??? BORING!" but think about it, I dont know how much you like to roleplay but this map depends on what happens next in the story. Also if you do get bored, then leave. Give someone else a chance to play in the story.

Too slow-paced, boring, and lame. Won't fit in well with a war game.
Lame?
/me looking for RPG launcher ;]
Did u play in fallout? RPG even with hard turn based combat can have very hot action!
Boring? I wonder how many FPSs have more than 100hrs of play? Most is boring after 5-10..
And..why not mix RPG and FPS? Like Deus Ex and FireArms? After 10 kills in Fa u could have "upgrade" better accuaracy and so on... it worked nicely...

We've already had great success in two previous games (both of which have custom map communities of their own) and also have a forum based division. We have no release dates yet for the BF2 division but I or another developer may be posting back here when we're open for business (figuritively speaking, it won't cost anything to join of course).
sweet dude! It'll be neat to see where this goes!
