[R-MOD]Brummy, my apologies. I'm new to the forums and wasn't aware of that. I put it in the mod section, because that's what its related to, imo.

LtSoucy, the M16A2 part is a misunderstanding. What I was referring to was using the Model and revising/editing it to look like the M16A4.
Mr. KP already mentioned that it was Illegal, possibily due to copyright law.

gclark03, No. It's above Marksman, but below expert.

I would also like to note on Suggestions that I strongly suggest that the British M249 gets a position swap with the British M240. The Americans should also use the M240, because it is commonly used in their Arsenal aswell.(I'm not saying that the American M249 should be switched with the M240. Their M240 should be placed on Vehicles and Strategic Positions).
The RPK/RPD should be switched with the PKM, possibly for some Nations.
And for the Australian Force mod, I'm look forward to the Steyr AUG :D

**The Marines dont use the M24 they use the M40A3 which is already in game**
The M24 should be integrated into the U.S Army in .8 and the DMR (Upgraded M14 with pistol grip and better ranger) should be used for the Marines.

Also he never said they should switch back to the m16a2

And the Marine "Snipers" are called Scout Snipers, due to the fact Snipers never travel alone the always have a Spotter or "Scout" as mentioned. US Army snipers are no different.

And quoting on Neutron. SNIPERS are any lone person or group of 2 who attempt to kill you from a long range hidden position using a NON-SCOPED or SCOPED rifle.

Correct, but that is just a sort of nickname for them, it's not their official title. If you're a cook and grab a rifle and go and do a bit of sniping, you're still a cook and not a sniper, see?

I think all the stuff is generally fine, but I do think the Officer kit should be titled differently. Actual USMC enlisted officers are more like the Commander role. For the most part, squad leaders are actually corporals (E4, classified as "Enlisted Personnel") in the Marines. (Other factions - I don't know)

L85A1 is no longer used.

L85A2 is the current model.

The Officer kit should be called the NCO kit instead. For the scope of PR's SLs and Commanders, it would be entirely possible to have an entire faction without a single commissioned officer, though there would usually be a 2nd Lieutenant acting in the Commander role.

I updated it, or edited my post... I looked it up and the British still stock the Hk53. The L22 is being used or something like that, but not yet replaced the current weapon.

L22 is now the general issue Carbine throughout the RAC, and AAC, making it a common weapon for AFV crews, and crews of aircraft. Moreso than any HK.

The current British AA Missile is Starstreak.

Great respects to the latest posters on correcting me and giving your own suggestions.
That's the kind of attitude I look for, other than stuff like, "Stop posting if you don't know this and that. You are flat out wrong...etc..." 8-)

If I recall correctly, the HK53 is mostly used by close protection teams and special forces, actually.

Yes, but what classes in the mod originally uses Carbines? Special Ops/Forces, right?
Even thought the HK53 isn't exactly a Carbine it's still used by that Force.

Yeah, but they don't use the L22, as far as I know. Tankers get those, from what I've read.

Quite right :) 'cavalry' (Tankers!!!) use the carbine although its still being rolled out as we speak, formation recce have not really jumped on the bandwagon as yet, mostly CR2 crews, who get 2 per CR2 and 2 x 9mm.

Anyways, the Sniper kit is not called the Sharpshooter kit because a SNIPER uses a scope, while a SHARPSHOOTER doesn't. :o
snipers dont always use a scope, Simo Häyhä
Häyhä was credited with 500+ confirmed kills
He preferred to use iron sights rather than telescopic sights
source

think its safe to say its more the training that specifies some 1 as a sniper rather than a weapon.

Livings wrote:I seen many British Firefights and the FN MAG was definately more used than the FN MINI
The camera men have enough sense to stay back and watch the action with fire support group who are the ones with GPMG.
Livings wrote:I would also like to note on Suggestions that I strongly suggest that the British M249 gets a position swap with the British M240.
The Minimi is the LMG for British infantry squads. GPMG is for supporting fire. GPMGs are whats moutned on the WMIKs - the current allocation is correct.

However what will be nice is the minimi para for brits rather than the m249.
