Yeah, and rainier, damper maps. With lots of sheep statics dotted around the map
Might be interesting though - there's quite a lot of interest in US v UK kit (see the Operation Kashan Freedom community match) and this would give another way for that set of stuff to be rolled out.
---------
My advice is this; start working out:
-What gear is already in PR
-What gear would need to be made
-What weapon/kit would go into each Argie kit loadout
-What vehicles you'd need
The Harrier is being worked on, so you'd need a comparable fighter; probably you'd go with the A-4R?
Then start seeing if anyone in the community is already modelling any of the equipment that the mod currently lacks, and if not, start finding people who can do it.

now all you need to do is model them, UV map them, skin them, export them, code them and test them

Fal against SLR would rock.
remember though the FAL was made to metric measurments whereas the SLR was made to Metric measurements.

Don't be sarcastic please. BTW, casualties from a past war don't tell me who'd win today.
Now now, let's not start a who's got the bigger d*ck battle, I don't care who'd win IRL, I want to see Argentina VS UK
in PR to play as one or another and see who'd win ingame!

If you look at the breakdown of casualties, discarding the Belgano, we lost almost as many as they did.
194 Argentine Army + 34 marines.
123 British Army + 27 marines.
I think its a bit unfair (and disrespectful to those who fought there) to dissmiss the Argentines as a walkover.

But that'd be pointless - PR is set in the near future, not 25 years ago
This is why I'm against
very realistic additions to PR like Argentinia Vs GB... it encourages a level of smacktardish sledging (a lá robbo) we just don't get when it's GB vs some arms dealer chappie.

Txs for the responses.
Please do not compare GB and Argentina. GB fought with soldiers. The Argentinian Politics send the recruits, kids, 18 years old acomplishing the reglamentary military service, so please, some respect for them and the casualties of your country and they families. the Belgrano was in Neutral waters when it was sink, durty play, also kids.
Coming back to the topic, i dont have responses iet from the people of our page (PR Arg.) to the convocatory of volunteirs to make the modeling. If there is anyone out of the Argentine comunity interested in get involved in this project please mail me.
Also want to comment a really interesting new: The near future creation of the UNASUR (Union de Naciones Suramericanas, Suramericans United Nations) CDS (Concejo de Defensa Suramericano, Suramerican Defense Council)
The UNASUR or SUN is integrated by the following Countries:Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guayana, Paraguay, Perú, Surinam, Uruguay y Venezuela
If the creation of this United Army is excessfull we could talk about a really important new faction.

Perhaps a modern day Argentina forces, with this way, there could be US Army, GB, Germany etc. Vs. Argentina Force.

Interesting! Would be easier than making every armies in South America! It'd be like a sort of MEC, and there could be insurgency styled gameplay where the Coalition army would fight off guerillas in the mountains, jungle and cities! The only thing that would be hard to emulate is the different brasilian and spanish languages... And if MEC can exist, then why would that not?
