I also thought that

But Compared the Models the PR one wins because for me it seems it have more details on it. But i like the BFSF skin much more because of the scratches and the used look. The PR Apache looks just to new/clean to me.

Just a thing, but to me the PR one looks brand-spanking new. Maybe if the texture looked used, a bit like the SF one....they would look more similar. Just a thing....

eewwww NECRO!

But yeah, i see what you're saying, the PR apache does look proper clean.

This is probably the kind of thing that there would be time for once the mod is finished, to go back and revise certain textures etc...

PR MODELS RULE!!!! But I will admit that the skin of the SF Apache is nice. We all should admit it. Come on now :P . But I love the PR Models and they rock. ESPECIALLY THE LYNX! YAY

The PR Apache is a AH-64A with the AH-64D's radar. The cockpit/nose of the craft is not that of the AH-64D.

Well,

PR has a better model in my opinion. Otherwise, the BF2 model is alright, I just like the quality on the PR one :P

the only reason why to some the SF Apache looks better is because of the scratches etc on the skin. How ever, these scratches etc are very unrealistic, how the hell are you meant to scratch it like that in the first place? Our apache's skin is more plain with hardly any scratches which is how it looks in r/l.

note, on that Apache, its in a combat zone, there are not real scratches on it, just dirt.

now if you look at the bf2 sf Apache.

I've pointed out most of the unrealistic scratches I could find with a quick scan over it, it looks like the surface has scratched along anouther metal or hard surface to strip the paint in such a large area, espically the one near the nose...

Our Apache could use some more dirt on it, but scratches, no.

I would be surprised if it had some, high speed/rotor pushing air fast + sand/stones could cause some scratches.

A 747 once flew through a cloud of ash and it caused so many scratches that you couldn“t see properly through the front glass, albeit a slightly extreme example.

ye but thous would be very light scratches, the scratches on the SF apache are like its been grinding against a wall or anouther metal surface :p

Ever had sand blow against ur car at a very high speed?
If so,ur car would have a bad paint job,i the desert, the occasional sandstorms and flying sand from take off/lading could scrathc teh apache paint(theoreticly)

b-b-b-but its bad *** :(
And I mean its not about killing the enemy its about intimidation factor. If they enemy sees a scratch on your apache he is going to shit himself and run instead of being a retard and taking pop shots at it.
