Battlefield 3 (or special title) ever getting it for PC?

Who knows guys maybe the devs caught some poor guy who is a pro hacker so he wastes every hour of heez life to crack the source code xD

And if BF3 will be announced im sure they will take a lot of things from PR, if they do that ill ready my SCUD basement system to blast DICE to heaven

Firstly apologies if English is not your first language but that above post is atrocious and this is from someone that is dyslexic. Please run your post through word or something……just a quick pointer its hard to take notice of anything written when its so poorly done…….

When I say the Developers I mean the original Developers of the Vanilla, they never pushed it they produced a good game that looked very nice. When you realise what Pr has added you have to question the original’s Dev not pushing it as there is so much content now added in this Mod.

So I’ll strongly disagree with you on that note…….I’m firmly on the side of the Pr mod but I think BF3 will be a stronger game thanks to PR and in turn will over power PR BF2 with its eye candy, new engine after all………

No I don't necessarily mean BF Bad Company.
But the next step for battlefield for PC. Is it ever going to even be announced? I have not been able to find anything about any talk on the subject.

I wonder when we will get the next BF, or hell even a new patch? (Not too worried about BF2 patches/updates but it still seems like they have left BF2 behind and forgotten about it.. same with 2142.. I go on the site and see the last patches were in like early 07 or late 06)

Say it was announced.. do you guys think the PR team would develop on it? Or just continue with the bf2 engine?

EA has announce a new patch coming out for BF2, that we all know about. Now the new FPS using the frostbite engine is in the works for the PC(No title that I know of). No official statement has been made on this, but a little birdie told me that has witnessed some of the game play says we will be impressed. Also my source states that EA/DICE has a target date of December 2008 for this new PC FPS, but I will bet it will be more like Spring of 2009.

The US will no doubt make an appearance in the next game, they're just too big not to be in a proper Battlefield game.

The MEC should be out IMO. Keep the PLA, a) realism and b) if there is a war on this scale, its more than likely gonna include or be against China.

Also NATO Forces in general are secluded more from games, i mean for BF2 you had to buy a shit booster pack to play with EU weapons!

Well.. If they come out with a BF3 I am sure it will be similar to BF2 in the system requirement area.
Meaning BF2 when first released wasn't really playable on every current system with maxed out settings, medium settings ran on most systems just fine.

I am less excited to move to BF3 to play BF3 but more excited for the move to BF3 to see what PR is truly capable of.

Imagine how amazing it would be to play PR with the Frost engine? The Qwai River would never be the same.. the fishing village would be awesome! Shooting down the small old wood buildings, then moving into the Government Office with a tank and blowing a hole through the wall to make your way in. Such an awesome setup.

And I bet the foliage will be better too. The natural environment will be more thick and full, more realistic grass/bush/tree coverage. Tanks will be able to go on maps like Bi Ming and mow down small trees no problem.. hmm

So many possibilities.

The Original Dice Dev's for BF2.....did not look at the time 3AM

Seen a few Video Clips of the Frost-bite engine but do you really think you can blow tree’s away…..I’d love to see the ground able to deform more and Day to night transition but speeded up for the games sake…….Hour by Hour with a ten minute transition and you had a game watch so you could say

“Hold on lads its going to be dark soon……lets wait then take it…”


I cant really complain I used to play Elite back in the 80’s and loved it and it was only black and white lines……
