Not to be picky here, but as far as I know there is no such tail fin on the black hawk, the turning force is supplied via the tail rotor. I guess you are thinking the rudder of a plane?

In any case, while it might work, I don“t think it would look very good.

I don't think the hinge idea will work, cuz should trail, but surely this way would be like a dog wagging its tail?

The hydraulic rams are how it turns so the rudder idea may work but it would take some crafty modelling. A dog wagging its tail isn't far wrong.

ok welll i want to learn moddelling and i havent done it before but id like to give it a go. it wont be a awsome full time thing just something for me to do outsid of my school. ill give either the FV432 Mk.III a go or the Jackal a shot. but it'd be a day or to but then i've gotta learn. but yeh so ill post back and tell yas wether or not ill do one and if someone here ( a dev) could say which one they would use.
