Actually, a smoke color like pink would fit great in a desert situation. WW2, brits painted their landies desert pink so they may camo better in to the desert. Now, if you could have that on smoke nades...think about it!! Devs are on to something

That's pretty weird. All countries use white smoke for primary smoke grenades. And now everyone will know who threw the smoke!

irl such as in afgan the different forces of the coalitions have different coloured smoke

one such instance was the US were firing on a british patrol couldnt get them on radio so they used the coloured smoke to tell em it was friendly

so different coloured smokes are important!

the smoke is used for marking friendly targets for CAS,


as is at the mo, friendly's mark them self's with the green so they arnt fired apon,

problem is that the hostile SL can also mark his troops with the green smoke

I guess this was meant as a joke but I really would like to see squad leader to have access to several smoke types for directing & designating his troops, covering fire from apc, tank, aircraft etc

Even better would be a smoke only m203 so it was a bit more instant and with more distance possible.

Give the SL a flare gun maybe for calling in help, or signalling an advance, etc
