If Israel is included in the MEC forces it would make a lot of sence to add it.

I realize Isreals location, but them fighting with the MEC? Alongside Muslum forces? I would like to see how the story line explains that one. Unless I'm mistaken as to who the MEC (fictional I know) really is.

If anyone has played the mod Silent Heros, they have some interesting armor in there. Dam fast too!

Im a political nooblet, please forgive my idiocy. But the MEC forces will need to get their armour from somwhere, we cant have them rolling around in ub3r 1337 T-72s that are better than an Abrams.

Oh I wasn't flaming anyone at all. I was more asking a question as well.

I thought I heard in that new vid that was posted that MEC and China are teamed up. So I would assume that Russian and Chinese armor would be what they have.

wot?! China n MEC teamed up, dam, well I guess thats wot they're goin to use to explain where the MEC is gettin their gear from.

The MEC (Middle East Coalition) is basiclly an alliance of a bunch of middle eastern warlords etc, with a few small-time rulers thrown in to the mix.

As to Israel, they're allied with America in RL, n America supplies them (or at least they used to) with a lot of their military equipment. So I guess in this mod u could add an Israeli side n hav them teamed up with the Americans. Their Alliance with America, n their proximity to the conflict, would explain their presence in the warzone.

T-72s aren't that bad man  , the main reason u neva really see them last that well vs an Abrams (in RL, in DC they last pretty well :wink :) is that the guys drivin the Abrams tend to be a lot better trained then the guys drivin the T-72. Its been a long time since America has faced off against someone as powerful n well trained as themselves.

Well the Saudis and Egyptians would have some M1A1's to throw into the mix, but it would be kind of weird to have M1A1's shooting at M1A2 SEP's.

The Syrians have a pretty large force of T-72s, and I believe they have the new T-72M1 upgrade package, which includes, among other things, an AAMG that can be fired by the commander from under armor.

I think u forgot all the Heavy electronics that the Abrams Have, they can basicly tell where the T-72's are before the T-72 knows it. Also a Abrams can fire while on the move about as accurate as it can still, since the barrel stays at a steady position while the tank moves, Abrams also have infared camera's which make it easy to spot T-72's at night since their exhaust comes out of the top of the turret (i believe, but am not sure)

ur probably right man, my main point was that it's been a long time since the US has faced anyone who could really make a decent face-to-face stand against them  . WW2 was probably actually really the last time, with the german's tanks n the japanese's airforce/navy.

Most of the forces they've come up against since then hav decided that the hit n run technique is best vs the US, cept for the NVA in the Vietnam war I guess, who simply swarmed the Americans n Australians under.
