I'm tired of complainers (right place to post that right?)

Nah I haven't played PR for ... 3 weeks due to similar gameplay, sometimes it's diffrent with alot of fun but I find that rare. So just go play something else and keep an eye on the forums for any kind of update

You dislike, you say whats bad about it and what one could do better. It doesnt end up in the mapack.

I´ve had thoughts about this before, even back when i started out with vanilla (3 years from now) but never really told the public.

Believe it or not the Devs don't use their Psychic powers to code stuffs, That's just for getting beer while coding

I was under the impression that he said that with respect that after a week you will come back to PR fresh. I have breaks from PR all the time sometimes three or four weeks I’ll not touch it.

If I was second guessing the release I’d say that it would make sense not to have a Lan Party without 0.8 I know if I was hosting a Lan Party I’d rather like to show off 0.8 with it.


Or is that just too sensible .

You missed the whole point, the only thing devs would do for a proper made map is to aprove and add it to the mapack.

Why do you post a link to the map editor.

My post was about a system that could add more maps, not where i could find the map editor...

If your map is really good enough for PR, i think the dev's will take a minute and listen to you. Its not like you do a map in a week or so. That takes so much time that something like a quick-add doesnt make sense.

I just found out yesterday that vanilla is alot more funnier than pr these days, however i will start playing pr again on a regular basis once 0.8 is out OR when the kids goes back to school.

Or if someone starts a server with me with ultra stict rules and alot of admins, but players dont seem to to want that ultra realistic gameplay, almost like a roleplaygame where you try to "forget" the maps.

The game gets alot funnier once you play it this way, allthough you need to have a squad that does the same aswell as the enemy team.

Did you hear this guy? Vanilla is a lot more funnier than 0.75!

Anyway, everything gets boring after a certain amount of time, and 0.75 has definitely passed that amount of time.

becouse Project reality LAN is in 13 and they say they will give exclusive info about.8 in the event maybe at 1st september the .8 will out

I am taking the recommendation and taking a week off.

I'm only bored when there's no teamplay. Like joining a map with 32 on your team but on the map it looks like there's only 10 or so.

Need more maps. I'm new here so I don't know which maps used to be in that are now gone but I think sometimes "quality control" can get a bit carried away and babies get thrown out with the bathwater instead of just refreshing the water. Need more maps that don't crash at the end thus making people not want to play them (Archer). Please more insurgency maps as this is what I mainly play. Al Basrah is great but it's getting run into the ground because it's the only insurgency map ATM (that works properly).

Balance realism with fun. I love realism and realistic loadouts on maps but if nobody else plays then what's the point? Notice how Kashan is probably the most popular map. I think the fact it has such a assortment of "toys" is a big reason. I'm not saying every map needs to have attack helos & jets but where conceivable putting either a helo or jet per side can only increase the fun factor and popularity of a map (Al Basrah, Op Archer). Despite that you have to stoop low to get bodies populating a map is a necessary evil to keep some maps from dying/getting stale IMO. I understand that the devs have a particular vision of what they want but in the end what matters most is what the players want not the makers. I'm not saying you have to do whatever crappy suggestion is made but be open to GOOD suggestions that might improve the game and popularity at the expense of some personal control. I don't want to be playing Kashan & Al Basrah in an infinite circle.

Yep. Also a suggestion would be for some radically different maps & concepts to spice it up. For instance a massive underground bunker system (say in Iraq) IRL Saddam had many of them. This could be a map with the entire map taking place inside the bunker. Also a "stronghold" type map where a massive fortified compound/base/whatever is assaulted & defended. Lot's of different interesting/fun scenarios that can be done.
