Actually, guy I know in Iraq says the Marine in Cobras provide air support. So not entire unrealistic to have Cobras with US Army, or Apache with US Marine for that matter.

They're all part of the US Armed Forces. I'm pretty sure that they operate in the same areas sometimes and, if asked, will assist each other.
