Hm, the VN3 looks almost finished to me. But then I don't know much about things like this.
Btw, what happened with the reskinning of the MEC vehicles? I fell in love with the lighter desert-camo T90 shown in that thread.

We're not gonna get any answers for most of these questions guys, might as well wait till .8 is released, cos it shouldn't be long with all the stress testing going on and all the other stuff the DEVs have been showing us.

p.s. later i asked him if the chechens had a command post, but he didnt knew what im talking about..
Would be nice if we had more then 1 militia faction, I'm sure stuff like that will develop over time. Much like the different insurgent factions, I think IDF community mod are working on a Hamas faction anyway.

The look isnt all.

You have to code the thing, especially because this thing is amphibian too. Model and skin a vehicle is just the first step of a lot more.

They weren't very good. Spush or someone could make better ones. I don't have the time to work on them anyways.

I'm likely to get flamed for this, but it's something that has bugged me for sometime. Why is China and MEC not using any of the US equipment that they own? A lot of the country's that would make up the MEC have a lot of US equipment. Here's a quick list of some items, F16, UH-60, AH-1, M1A1, M1A2, AH-64, UH-1N, LAV III. I'm sure there is a bunch more, but that's just a quick list that I've pulled together. Now most people are gonna argue that it would be to hard to tell which side is which if they are both using the same equipment. To that all I have to say is. What do you think is gonna happen if a conflict like this was every to really happen? Do you think The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain, and others are going to not use there US made equipment? You know they would. I think this would add a very realistic aspect to the game, and force people to better identify contacts. On the flip side I can see all the TK's that would be caused by this. But hey it's called Project Reality, not Project Simi-Reality. This is just my opinion, so please flame nicely.

well, project reality does aim to preserve gameplay
but also, how many F16s do they have in comparison to other jets for example?
If you show me that Iran's mainstay of their airforce is an american jet, then yeah. But afaik the general policy of PR is to stick to an average portrayal of each force.

The F-16 is used by more nations that would must likely form the MEC then the Mig-29. It is also used in greater numbers then the Mig-29. The MIG-29 is in use by Iran, Syria, and Yemen. The total numbers are around 126. The F-16 is in use by Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, United Arab Emirates, and Egypt. The total number in use is 312. You can double the number if Turkey is part of the MEC.
(As for the numbers I have used. They were pulled from several sources. As for the accuracy of these soruces your guess is as good as mine. It's the internet not a DoD database.)
