Now the fact is this what I've already stated, development wise, a reskin of the vBF2 Z-10 is all you need, which will take you only a few hrs. You will have enough problems exporting, coding, uvmapping and modelling weapons that have nothing like them in PR, concentrate on them.
either take my advice and I think its VERY safe to say that I know what I'm talking about or we will simply not take you as a serious community mod, period.

Not always true. Look at planes like the F-16 and the upcoming F-35. Both very good aircraft and compared to planes like the F-22, very cheap.
Anywho getting back on topic, yea take Rhino's advice and just do a simple re-skin.

dont mean to contradict but uk buys american apaches then modifies them to make them better ... read it in newspaper

ye well, dont matter, overall its a very effective attack chopper like I'm sure the Mangusta is too.
