I want to have your babies.
A. Dont say it is impossible people...it was said that putting machine guns on the sandbags was impossible because when the assett was blown up, the gun would remain, which is not the case. and thats just a single example.
B. Personally i dont think it would alter people's focus on teamwork, as a kill only lasts a fraction of a second and the body dissapears after a minute or so. you wouldnt even see a big spatter on a wall, but im sure that there are many many possibilities with the BF2 engine's effects.
C. I dont care about gore really, but i do care about a couple of things that gore could replace, like when you blow a person up with an explosive and their corpse flys 1000 meters into the air and bounces all over the place like a big ping pong ball. ragdolling is fine when your shot, but when your blown up, ragdolling just doesnt suit it.
A single change imo would be that when you are totally annihilated by an explosive, your body and kit dissapear, and when it happens, a small effect that depicts the player's body turning to dark red and brown mist with some tattered rags being flung arround...and remember, with the new dust effects, most of this would be obscured and very difficult to see as again...it would all happen within a fraction of a second. an RPG hitting beside a person would explode very quickly, and so realistically the body would defragment at the same speed, so realistic wartime gore is not like it is in action movies where everything is slowed down and shown in vast detail for effect. its more like click...boom...bloody sprinkles and debris.
And btw, i have seen people explode, and its nothing like media shows it.
