Actually i think it would be cool to give each conventional army one unique weapon/kit that no other faction has. Of course the DEVs will keep it realistic and make sure that the weapon/kit is actually useful.

Mecs should get At-5 on their BTR90, or maybe the 30mm automatic nade launcher

This thread hurts me. It is not even remotely grammatically correct to say something should be 'more unique' or 'so unique', unique is not a term that can be increased as it defines a maximum of 'uniqueness'.

Work here done, grammar nazi away!

EDIT: Also the L1A1 assault rifle has nothing to do with the G3 besides the calibre, people regularly make this mistake.
