Shouldn't this be up to serveradmins and not pr-developers?
Vagina, seriously? i'll try that. But to be honest, i can't recall getting any warnings in 0.8, and i'm pretty sure i've used some of those words allready.

In how far are "vagina" or "queer" bad words? o_O Hope that gets changed or removed with a patch...

Well its based on what some people may find offensive after all.
As for certain words people are wondering about in context they can be rather offensive to paticular groups/lifestyles.

Yes, server admins are free to edit it as they see fit afaik (the file is for server use only, and shouldn't be in the client files at all). What's there is just a suggestion, and a good starting point for the majority of servers.

Seriously guys, no more using any words from the badwords.cfg. I'll have to get Masaq to close this, and that would be sad. This is just an amusing thread, not a thread about debating what constitutes a "bad word."

I expected like the 1st couple of posts where people agree that it was funny or odd. Not people using those words (hence the file is titled "badwords"!)

Though some of the words arent "bad". But okay, we wont argue about that. I just find it rather odd than funny. But that might be just me.

I agree that is it rather odd, but I tend to laugh at odd things.

Yeah, I found that file by accident today, too. I'd like to see a British person get kicked for typing "queer" (as in odd) and not understand what he did. :-D

The hilarious part is that two-thirds of them are spelled wrong.

Well they are supposed to be spelt wrong because people sometimes use the word spelt wrong so that the automatic bad word catcher won't warn/kick them.

Grr... too many warnings in one thread.

Keep it clean or this thread is getting locked.
