Agreed, you have to wonder if the guy actually was cheating, considering how often people will get kicked/banned by PB without cheating.

And Mamm, as I said most of the people DO have PB problems, just go ingame and ask around. But most of them just soldier on. They'll get a handshake errow and reboot PR and try again untill it works. When I said "Noone can play" I didn't mean litteraly. I meant it was such a hassle that made it made PR less fun to play, and more a chore. Does that stop people from soldiering on and playing it anyways? Nope. But it is still a problem.

Ultimately this issue comes down to those who are sick of PB and would rather play with cheaters, or actually think a dedicated admin force could keep them away. And those who believe PB is the only thing holding back a flood of cheaters. Both sides have merits to their views, and the only real way would to solve this would be to have a big clan host a PB-free server.

I say big clan because you'd need to have a dedicated admin force, having atleast one admin on at every moment the servers up. Anything less and the idea fails. But if you could do this, it'd be nice to see what happens. I personally think there aren't as many cheaters as people like to think, and the few that would try things would get kicked. And if they aren't noticed, then their cheating obviously isn't affecting the game enough to piss anyone off anyways. Either way, atleast everyone can get ingame.

Well, my PB is just truly out of control, everytime i start PnkBstrB manually it shuts down as soon as i tab up PR again.

Chanvlan is right. The PB issue is fixed(as far as following the thread steps goes). Ive not had an issue with it since I did that.
