Everyone hated that map! Noone ever even ran it! Whenever it loaded, half the server had left, and we map voted to a better map. Bi Ming day you could actually see, and play, therefore it was fun.
That's what everyone said. "Oh, there's not this many trees in RL", "Why is it so dark?" yadda yadda yadda.

Bi Ming is laid out very nicely-I think the only flaw was that it -was- pitch black. Had it been just a bit lighter (considering the moon is full, and there are external light sources on the map), you'd have some ambient lighting (granted, it would still be utter darkness, but not pitch black. Just lighten it a tad and give it a blue-grey tint, and viola. Nightvision is still applicable, but you can still get through some areas without it, if you can see that well.

the night setting from EOD2 are good, its dark but you can still see you're targets

The only way to make a night map is to make sure it is even on all performance settings.
That means eliminating glow that can't be seen on low.

Why not try and make the lighting sort of like Liberation of Leipzig from 2142? You don't actually have NVG in 2142, and you can see fine, but that might just be due to the snow...

Too have a nightmap in a realism mod without NVG's for a conventional force is just not realistic.

The new Bi ming is great but I really miss the old night version there was some epic fire fights on that map :D
