The difference from F1 to F2 is:
F1 comes with a collapsible butt stock only.
F2 comes with a collapsible butt stock, picatinny forend w/vertical grip and sight rail w/ Aimpoint Comp M2.

Marksmen tends to use the standard butt stock because of more stability and recoil reduction. And a bipod. 9-12"

3x you say? We have the Aimpoint 3x also.

Yep, know the difference between F1 and F2, but was thinking about the solid-stock F2.

We're using the Aimpoint CompM4 + Aimpoint 3x magnifier.

one thing you should change in your designplan just for correctness sake :
the g-wagon is not from canadian forces but from OPK...you w'ill have to send your own request

You see those two plugs 7'o clock of the rear sight? Just push them out and the butt stock comes loose.

hmm, was looking at the design plan, why are you going to use AG3 when we are changing to HK416?? (or HK417 don't remeber) And the spec obs kit should be Diemaco C8. I'm not shure about the sepc obs, just throwing forward with my sugestions

Yea I love teh F2! But when all in the norwegian army(exept home guard) gets HK416 IRL, will the PR norwegian army get it to?

Because some (quite few, from what I've seen) soldiers use other optics than the Aimpoint and we wanted to make the Officer that bit more attractive.

why make the officer more "attractive", you already need hem to drive trucks, make RPs, carry extra dressings and stuff so why? following the same logic, should a (for example) a MEC officer get a susat instead of the hensoldt to make him attractive? i beg to differ on this point!

But as for the A-stan maps at least, NF's goal is to reflect the weapons in use of the now, and afaik, we have not replaced the AG3f2 completly over there?

It is done. All norwegian forces deployed since this summer uses HK416.

This is actually a bad time to decide on which weapons to use in a game that is not to be finished in a long time (6months+).
The army is in a.. transformation, so weapons that are decided to be used will be outdated when the norwegian part is done.

Hmm well i am not sure if we will do this since all the effort we have been putting into this weapons is not going to be for granted but i will keep my eyes on it! Thanks for the information And if we so are going too just use the H&K 416 in afganisthan and not the AG3F2 and the H&K 417 then i would say this mod is done sooner then id expected! But i dont think we will follow that plan, we will just continue working as we were! So the progress will be the same! Though thanks for the effort! Anyone disagrees?

I agree with johnandreas. As I have said my self I would have the HK416, there is 2 reasons. 1. Reality and 2. the AG3 looks so **** bad ingame that it almost make me cry. Thow you could just do with the AG3, but then when Norwegian are ingame, then u should add the update with HK416

You know what? I'm actually going to have to go with johnandreas on this. If it's what's used IRL, it should be used in PR. And, remember, when the F2 was decided upon, the 416 had not yet entered service.
