It would be a nice change. Also looking forward to the real Vodnik entering the game.

Well, from what I've heard it was shot down, but I would like to push for it to become a squad-support vehicle, holding 2-3 crates for FB construction.

I'd rather have an Armored Engineer Vehicle, because when you roll around with the Tanks on maps like Kashan, unless you've taken one of the BMPs, you're all too easy to kill.

It's best if you wait for ArmA 2

M113s SUCK in the desert. Bradley IFVs always have to stop and wait for M113s to catch up. Not to mention they will throw a track much more easily than a Bradley IFV. When that happens your day is RUINED!!!
Seems that something like the BMP-3 would be more fitting.

Out of curiosity, is there a more modern answer to the M113 Vulcan(The one with the fat Mini-gun/cannon on top)?
Is there an AA striker or summin?
Also, the M113 would mean that we can stop pitching the Styker against the BRDM-2, which as we all know is utter fail for the styker.
...mongol...

LAV-AD is the closest thing really, but the Army don't use those. There is no AAA variant of the Stryker that I'm aware of and the US army doesn't have any SPAAGs anymore, IIRC short range defence is now handled entirely by shoulder launched stingers and Avenger humvees.

Why? ArmA can be found for about £5 now. Sure, 2 is out in six months or whatever but if you play the game for an hour at a time, twice a month every month between now and then that's still only just over 40 pence per hour of gameplay which seems bloody reasonable to me, so long as you enjoy it
I bought it on Friday, I've played about 10 hours on it total I'd say... even if I don't pick it up again, that £5 would be worth two pints of beer in my local, which would have lasted me less than 90 minutes

That's correct. The Marines no longer have LAV-ADs OR Avengers. Until SLAMRAAM/CLAWS is fielded, they will only be using Stinger MANPADS.

My thoughts exactly

Im not sure if its that cheap here in holland but its cheaper than it was I guess

But is Arma2 coming out before Operation Flashpoint 2? Or is that the same game on these forums (people are confused?)

always been re-defining the equipment used by the MEC to be a mixture of what would be available to them in real life. The plan is to remove
any russian equipment from them that isn't available from Russia as an export (BTR-90 being obvious). Also, who said we're only picking one
Does that mean the T-90 will be gone too?
