But would be awesome to be "fighting" in a rural area.
Any updates mate?
Just an update. I'm in the process of moving atm so progress has slowed to a halt for now, but it's far from dead I'll get straight back into it once I've relocated.
And yeah, the Indonesian army is far from rag tag. But China will do for the mean time

PLA and Indonesian Insurgents are the opfor we are looking at for the moment. However, in the future if there is a need, the TNI can be made and definitely fit into the "storyline" of this faction. But not for an initial release, just too much work.

I also approve of this map
biiig problem i had with vanilla bf2 was that it was clearly made with a US audience in mind, thus the possibility of a us mainland attack was never even considered, the us team was regularly given advantages over enemies (uncaps :/) etc etc, so it would be very nice indeed to see this mod released with a good representation of the homeland.
(i understand that the fourth booster pack had maps on US mainland, but cmon, that was years after release, and it still didnt fix all the maps where to us side was the only one with an uncap)

this mods going to have Australia landscape don’t you think it should look like it?
If there going to be Map's that feature the Australian land scape then this mod team should perhaps consider doing some work on making some native flora and vegetation I mean having pine tree’s making the majority of the tree’s in the landscape is just wrong apart from sydey and pine plantation Australia does not have pine tree‘s growing in the out back it usually gumtrees, and ironbark, paperbark, and such to name a few, we do have the Norfolk island pine but I don’t believe it grows natively on the Australian continent
It be cool to make maybe a bunya bunya pine tree and place it in game im sure the community would appreciate the mod more if it had a more Australian feel to it. And most Foreigners like the native Australia flora maybe not in Florida Iv heard they are having problems with some a species eucalypts.

I based this map on where I live. About 30 minutes away we have about 3 big pine plantations / timbermills. We even had pine plantations right next to our primary schools until only recently
