Well, you can allways make xfire start the mod instead of orginal bf2.

Only ++ to my current setup would be browsing only the mod servers, not filter them around as I
now do.
I use Xfire allways to start PR.
I see no real need for pure xfire support.

i don't mean to be a cynic but xfire saying Bf2 rather than Project reality is a great advertisment for EA and i doubt they will let it slip. I know u need to buy bf2 to have PR but a lot of people may not realise that when the see project reality on the list. still signed with fingers crossed
