a REMOTE-detonated claymore would be best, but for the love of GOD dont make them automatically go off.

We've all agreed already that clacker-operated claymores are the ONLY way to go.
Why is it so hard to make that clear to everyone?

With the BF2 Engine-yes.
I would love to see you be able to string out the trip wires yourself, but I don't think it's possible.

I think the ironsight rifleman should have less deviation while moving than a scoped rifleman. The benefit would only help to lets say 50m (coding of deviation). Seems like this would actually give ironsights an advantage in CQB

Deviation simulates weapon sway from the weapons weight/size/shape etc and soldiers movement, I dunno how much scopes weigh but, I don't think that's necessary. The whole point of the irons is that the sight is more suited to CQC, no need for any extra advantage, I think the irons sight faster too, which is probably realistic.

The DEVs haven't participated in that agreement, anyway just cos a few people have made an agreement doesn't mean someone can come in and argue against you, remember all the unpopular threads during the last few release cycles? No SL/APC spawn, no ammo from rallies, no minimap? There was a pretty big agreement that these things shouldn't be implemented, majority decisions don't automatically indicate that something is right.

I used them and they were great, would be a great addition for my ambush squad

I remember the old claymores were good
but since C4 was removed from engineers partly due to the large amount of ambushing...I wouldn't hold my breath for claymores, at least in the rifleman kit.
