From what Fuzz had said, the "new places to fight" was the best part. I love to see new maps in the new versions.

Just to comment on spaceman’s answer, yes a lot of good TEAM PALYERS WITH MIC have left and the new player coming in either have no mic and don’t play as a team player, team kill when you are no less than 50m away, lying on the ground typing in "STOP SHOOTING ME (name)" but then he team kills you. I know for a fact because I had that for the last 4 weeks of playing pr now on all servers (there are only a few players that I know now to be a good team player, before I use to know loads) and it is really putting me off now same with the deviation (can’t wait for next patch-so deviation is sorted). but as for new players joining they need to sort there shit out cause sometimes I want to jump through the monitor and choke the F***er that is playing like a twat. I can give loads of examples and screen shots of people being idiots. There use to be a lot less idiots in 0.7 and 0.75 that didn’t ruin the game for me but in this mod it is very rare that I have a good 1 hour of game play. So hopefully in the next mod we have more team players with MIC join. Especially in this mod and the next mod, the only way to have a good game is to have good team players and a good squad which makes a good game. But I’ve seen a lot of players create a squad then not lead a squad when more that 3 players join (that really pisses me off). But as I said hopefully the next mod brings in better players.

Lazy I agree - I was just saying what the usual suspects say on the forum, who obviously have a very different experience of PR than you or I have. They often have the attitude of "if you dont like something - then shut up or **** off" which is not good for the mod imo.
As you know I used to play on your server every night, but basically playing PR just isnt fun for me anymore, because of the players, and because of the gameplay. Its not that I cant adapt to 0.8 - its just that it isnt fun alot of the time!
I will keep playing PR because of all the experiences Ive had in the past, and hopefully alot of players who left after 0.8 will come back for the next release.
PS: Ill try and have a game with you tomorrow - its been a long time

Seriously, why do each time I log on PR I have a good time and a good squad ?
Here some hypothesis;
1-Join a clan
2-Use a MIC
3-Obey SL (If your SL aint worth shit, leave the squad and lead one yourself!)
4-Aim before to shoot... Earlier today, I saw some blue guys on BURST or Automatic firing mode shooting at ennemy aprox. 200 meters away... Are you kiding me ? lol, best way to waste ammo. In the meantime, I had shot down 3 of them hiding behind trees on semi-automatic firing mode. YES bullets deviate, big deal. A small deviation reduction could be ok but I don't want it to return to point and instant kill at all. I feel like deviation make firefight much more intensive and it last longer.
People who doesnt aim properly must be penalised.
There are n00bs on every version, people was already complaining about it on 0.7 and 0.75... Nothing we can do about it... Shit happens. The best we can do is to try and teach them.

Skodz not everyone is in, or wants to be in a clan, and most PR players go on random public servers, and join random unlocked squads - these casual players keep PR alive just as much as hardcore clans or PRT players. You shouldn't have to join a clan to have a good game.
As for your gameplay comments - even you admit that things need tweaking. If people didn't "whine" about it then these things wouldn't change. The problem is that many people don't air their views on the forum because they know they'll get flamed/given infraction points.

i am in a clan skodz,[RIP] lazydemonjay but as bully said we have lost alot of good players which is anoying but nothing can be done there. it must be the time i start playing from then UK time- 2100 -0000. thats probally when all the idiots start playing
. as alot of the Old PR players now me as a hardcore PR player but that has change since when i join a server all the good squads are full . so i wait for the next round then all of them leave, then it becomes a free for all. but i agree with you post mate. i just hope most of the idiot playing now just leave PR so it can be how it was and why i started to play PR. when i create a squad, normaly idiots join 90% of the time. but i do have a good squad 10% of the time i play. i know people will say kick members from the squad, and believe you me, I dont HESITATE. but then they call you all names under the sun and i dont think they realize the reason you kicked them after you asked them 5 times to move to the move marker and keep with the squad. I've noticed a lot of clan members, not giving any names, that are horrible players and think of their clan mates over others. I mean seriously, I was playing on Fools Road as British and a clans whole squad was just sitting on Hilltop Estate on a fire base jacking off to porn mags while the militia pushed all the way onto our bridge at main. Our teammates that were smart enough to get in vehicles went to drive across the bridge but our infantry squads put mines on our side before the bridge. So all the infantry and armor just camped main, minding all the armor died from our mines. I don't remember this back in .756 when I used to play everyday and get a 99% chance for a good match even if we lost.

All very good points, but the proof of empty servers and constant moaning about not being able to shoot a single person (even at close range) from people who play the game on a regular bases must have some strength...
Don't get me wrong, I love this game and think it's the best BF2 mod ever. I am also a proud member of RIP but cannot believe that the stats says the game is stronger than ever.... As bulldog said in his opening post, just a few months ago there would be a dozen full servers every night but now you will just find 3 or 4. Maybe people have got bored but I am convinced that this is to do with several 'new' features of 0.8 have have spoilt this mod - weapon deviation, slow up-time of scopes and the inability to run/jump more than a few steps without becoming hurt/knackered.
The new maps are just awesome and the improved medic is just what was needed, but surely you guys can see what is going wrong here...?

ok - everyone is going off the track here.... and while I respect the dev's for what has been achieved.... please sit down and take some criticism, its how the game evolves....
