Useless with PKM. The recoil is too massive.

Well, compare these two vids then:

Muzzle Flash is only easily seen in the dark, otherwise the background light washes it out.

That's not weird at all. Most times it is hard the see the flash in day time. Muzzle flash is only an issue in low light conditions. If you are firing while in the shadows it can be a bit easier to spot, but on a bright morning like that it is not easy to see the flash at all.

And yes guys it does recoil that bad :)

You might notice there is no muzzle flas but alot of smoke in the second vid. what the heck is going on in the first vid only God, the gunner and the cameramen knows.

problem is, yes some INS shoot from hip and dont aim ect, but unless you force people to always shoot from hip players in game will always sight in for more accuracy.

First video, you can see the guy is laying his body into the rifle, especially when the rounds are expended; he trips forward before catching his balance.

In the second video, he is AIMING to hit, meaning that he's not going to fire 200 someodd rounds just because he can; he's using it efficiently and that's how it should be used.

Tip: Just because that guy can, doesn't mean we should.

Firing from hip in real life will spray lots of bullets into a general direction. Firing from hip in PR will spray all but the first few bullets way up in the air.

Nobody expects deadly accuracy from the hip, but if i'm gonna lug around this big gun at least let me provide a little covering fire while on the move. Increase deviation, decrease recoil.

I understand that people will run around firing from the hip only. But, to be honest, if i walked up to an insurgent holding a PKM and i had a M16(in close quarters) i wouldn't expect to win that fight, no matter what his position.

Is it possible to make the gun lock to an extent when the trigger is pulled. So one couldn't pull the trigger and spin 360 degrees spraying bullets everywhere. Maybe make movement similar to scoped in sniper.
