Nope, I just mean, i spent a lot of time on this PC just for PR.

And I get screwed on the bleed effect.

Gotta change to forged connecting rods before going near Nos. And put 'super 300' on your head gasket to guarantee a seal and no head gasket leak due to high compression or overheating. After Knife edging your crank and having a 'Jacobs Electronics' timing device that advances your timing when you hit the button. Forged pistons to finish it off.

Not waving, just looking for a reason why I get the LAVA lamp effect.

Don't forget to sand the leading edges of the Disc pads at a 30 degree angle to clean the dust off the rotors and cross drill the rotors at a machine shop in a balanced pattern.
Rear are the same, just put a groove on the O.D. because they are to thin to cross drill.

There is the proper Nos and Brakes answer.

Now give up the LAva Lamp Bleed fix, please.

Ok, well since you obviously have a decent understanding of cars, Ill use an analogy. Your computer is running 11.1:1 compression ratio. This game is 83 octane pump gas, so your going to have detonation problems. So, your option is to run on supreme(another game) or de-tune your engine(turn off crossfire).

Before i do that, turn off crossfire, i just want to understand why.

then i'll run pump gas, in something that should take 100LL from the local airport.

i'll most likely just live with it in crossfire because the higher frame rates help when there is a lot of smoke.

i tried tonite and it was 60 fps, when crossfire, 160+.
i may just take the trade-off of lava lamp to the lag of FB digging and smoke grenades.

it's too bad that happens when a 4870 X2 or twin 3870 cards in crossfire give the wrong bleed out.

Sad thing is, you can always play with the timing in a high compression engine, but this crossfire mess is another realm.
G-nite all.

No way, i just water cooled both cards, both hard drives and the cpu.
And threw an extra radiator out the window so the water is at 8C, cards at 19C, and hard drives at 13C.
Cards cranked up to 860 MHZ clock, and 1200 MHZ memory. CPU at 4.06Ghz. 4 gig ram at 1081.
Gaming in U.S.A. Northeast in winter.
No.
Must be another way.
What if i turn AI up from standard to advanced?
I really like my 320FPS.

Even FH2 acts like a lava lamp, also.
what the you have 320 FPS in Bf2 ? i just get in PR 100 usealy around 80  i think ill send it in for RMA (warrenty)

mind out, bumper car coming through...oops, bump.

this still occurs in 0.85 :(

any help sorting this out would be muchly appreciated...its a massive disadvantage in the game...especially in CQB, because once revived im totally blind until partially healed (the more healed i get, the more the black screen fades out). if iv been revived in a hot zone its like an episode of Nightmare...left a bit! now crawl forwards! right abit! right abit more! ....just to get to a safe spot to be healed. so you can see this is a disadvantage to any squad im in as well as myself.

anyone have a 4870x2 and vista64 without this problem? if so pls let me know how you have rid of it!

have you tried disabling the cards internal crossfire in the Catalyst Control Center, I've heard it can sort out problems on older games, however you are then basically only running a single 4870.

I hav not tried that...but im sure one 4870 is way more than enough to play BF2 anyway, but is it dodgy to do that? it can't harm the card in anyway can it?

thanks for the tip tho! :)
