The DEV's need to find a Chechen for voice acting, so the Russians have some Militia to fight against. The Georgian militia IRL are Russia's friends (pretty much making Fools Road and Mestia great catalysts for WWIII).

I'd love to see the current Militia maps changed, there's no need for the British Army in that part of the world, Russia would do their nut. Fools Road and Mestia could just have their locations altered to Chechnya (less than 200 miles away), it's just the problem of voice acting that'd need sorting out (probably a tough one).

Most Chechens can speak some Russian, but I doubt they speak it in general everyday conversation to each other. Still, I'd rather have Russia Vs Russian-speaking Militia, than no Russia Vs. Militia maps.

I've just been reading that Chechen is classified as a North-east Caucasian language and Georgian a South Caucasian language. Being that Russian is a Slavic Indo-European language, I would guess Georgian is the closer of the two in relation to Chechen. Therefore we already have a pretty good placeholder, as far as voice acting goes for any potential Chechen militia.

Bring on the Russians!

Dude this looks awesome. Can already imagine tanks rolling down those wide streets while Russian helicopters fly over the city.

When is this getting released?

A Checnya map Russia vs. Militia would be AWESOME. Forests and a nice city. It's true that objects for Checnya are missing, but I think houses in Ghost town (BF2SF) are pretty good. Maybe they could be used?

Anyway, any urban maps Militia vs. X would be very nice addition to the game. But I like forest maps too. Fools road and Assault on Mestia are both excellent maps.

No, they just used the same old ME-statics. Kinda cheap sollution. Adding alot of Middle eastern-style building, many with Arabic writing on them and say that the town is somewhere on the Black Sea coast... Bah.

Sure hope that the Russians will get this "Dragonfly"-map. Always wanted to relive the battle of Grozny, and this is close enough.

Well here in the Balkans is pretty calmly no one fights anymore, although a US bomb destroyed one chalet in my country by inacurate fire the Serbia was attacked some years ago.

Yea, go for it... Make a siege of Vukovar, if anyone wants. But if someone does this, and screws something, I swear to God that DEVs or whoever is going to make is going to wake up next morning without his reproduction ability...
