Had a chat with one of my advisors on the .50 cal mount issue, he said its identical to the one we have on our Fennek vehicle, so your good to go on the finalizing, UVmap and export as far as i know.

It has a remote weapon station what he told me.

I need some refs of the Dutch turret, as the ones I have now doesent show me enough to model the thing... When the turret is done, there will be very little left to do on this.

That would be nice :) Can I edit the Fennek mount and use it or should I re-model it?

Thanks for the refs, but these are the ones I have, and none show the turret.

I think it would be better and faster if you remodel it

Ok, so I've done some more on the turret, but a lot of it is guess work because of the lack of references! So if you have some MA's/service men or women with access to the SISU, please get them to take some photos of the turret, as the ones I have found on the net are mostly useless!

Also, I need a model of the .50 cal to check the size and position of everything in 3ds max, how can I go about acquiring that?

ill ask around some more with my sources for the turret,
the .50 cal model needs to be aquired from the r-devs if you need it.

For the rest it looks very nice, keep it up! :)

Ok, offcourse i will continue looking but does the turret need to be *that detailed?

Becuase in 1p you sit behind it and since the Patria/Sisu is such a big vehicle not many people will climb on top ingame and start bitching about the turrent not being detailed enough.

I'm about to make the export for Hautecloque, so let me know if anything is wrong on the model before is too late, the texture I can fix later but the models and uvs is much harder.

Wow mate looks very good allready :D

Ill show it to my MA's and ask them to comment.

The only thing i can notice at a first glance is that it still has propellors that our version doesnt have.

Looks great! Some last detail's.

- Dutch Patrias have no propeller
- The smoke pots and big lights on the sides of the vehicle, Dutch don't have them.
- The front window shield (standing upwards) Looks a bit big?

And for the texture, can you remove the bright orange LES. Its for lesson vehicles only :) .
Also could you make it without ISAF logo. We need a basic version also. ISAF stickers can be added later.

Amazing work!

Don't worry for this, he has let them for the Norwegians (I assume Salmonella has not welded them to the body), I will delete those parts when I export the vehicle.

Edit : @Salmonella : please remove the marker when you take shots in the editor
