Random Pants, the 'complainers' as you put it, happen every time a new version of PR is released. Some may say 0.8 more than others, but whatever, the fact is, it happens because a lot of people don't necessarily like game play 'improvements', and want it to stay the same. The DEVs can respond to how they see it, how they want the game and the community feedback.

Im not sure we really need this thread as it seems your just trying to say "told you so". But he is right in some ways. When 0.8 came out many people were flamed even for giving constructive criticism.
At first the fanbois all cried "adapt to it", or "give it a chance - people shouldnt comment for 2 weeks" etc. Then 2 weeks later "we've heard it all before - stfu"
You have to be very brave to say anything at all critical of PR in the forums, and yet the imo the ones giving constructive criticism are far more helpful to the mod than the "love everything" fanbois.

PS - Obviously Im not supporting those who are abusive to the DEVS or who basically give no suggestions for improvements.

Spacemanc, it's not that I don't like criticism as a 'fanboy' of PR, but the fact is, this thread is a thread saying I told you so, when really Random Pants isn't a new breed of 'complainer' it happens every release, it's just how you take to your complaints being taken, and it would seem in this case, very immaturely.

P.S congrats on 1,000 posts :p

How can you literally reverse something with slight tweaks?
How is 0.8 sketchy at best? I mean, 413 people are playing it right now, at 01.19 GMT on a Thursday night, 4 months after it was released.
The 0.8 "bashers" shouldn't have more credibility. Just because your opinion on 0.8 ["with tweaks"] conforms to the expert's / professional's real-life experience doesn't mean you are anything more than an 'arm chair general', like myself and the vast majority of the community.

Well random pants look like you once again out voiced. I guess you will have to wait to see whats been changed to make a real comment. Seeing as you have no clue whats changed. Maybe you should take your own advise before guessing whats changed.

These coded change-logs are retarded...I'll wait for the official non-retarded changlelog...

This thread has no point. The bashers arent right, they never are. Those who give constructive criticism, now they could be right about some things. Other things they are wrong about. Theres a significant difference between a simple basher and someone who wants to help make things better.

Locked. Ill go through this thread when I have time...
