vBF2 is fine, it's just there's rarely any good teamwork.

I know what you mean. I actually just came of AIX. I find alot of mods don´t get the attention they deserve, they are different but awesome in each way.

FH2 is the only mod where I really enjoy the infantry combat. OPK2 is good aswell and EOD isn´t bad.

USI, operation peacekeeper, FH2, EOD2 and AIX are all fun to play, and I actually have more teamwork in most of those than PR lately. Especially FH2.

I remember the days on nilla bf2

I played 2 rounds Karkand couple of hours ago after a 2 month break,although i finished at 1st position both rounds it sucked hard...

Really? I find FH2 has the worst teamplay for me, you find more teamplay in vBF2 from what I have played...

Really? I find it so hard to use the AT kit against infantry in vbf2 because you have to score a nearly direct hit to kill anyone. Splash damage is like non existant in vbf2.

That and the fact that you have to put almost a whole clip into someone to kill them, man vbf2 is such garbage.

Im glad i was addicted to vanilla when it came out though, i didnt have a computer at the time that could run it, so i was always playing it at my friends house. it took me like a year but i was able to build a monster computer and i did it just for vanilla. once i built my computer i played vbf2 for a day, then i discovered this little mod called PR and havent gone back to vanilla since.

You can have fun in any game.

Except Eve online...

The last time I was playing something else than PR it was FH2.

All the time I was like WTF? Where are all these guys coming from? Then I realized that you can actually spawn at the flags...

Same thing when I had my teammate respawn into the tank I was driving - how did you do...oh, wait, you can actually spawn on SL!

similar things happened to me today too

if i wanna go rambo i play AIX... it stresses me out sometimes tho, cus the game is fo friggin fastpaced...

Reading your topic i desided to play vannila tonight( havn't played it very long time ago) and what i discovered was a stupid non-teamwork gamelplay with dolphin divers, nade spammers and baserapers so i quickly changed to PR .

CoD4 now fills my needs in that direction, but before that, I jumped on a Karkand only server from time to time ops:

Same here...but it felt more like a "Do-whatever-you-want-without-the-rage-of-your-teammates-PR"

Hehe, yeah it's a great kick once in a while! The thing is vbf2 is so much more ...easier than PR
