Insurgents rely on Hit and Run tactics, or should. Crawl in an immobile tank would not be logical at all imo.

1 round? run away :P

you forget that there are some die hard insurgents out there, especially in afghanistan, ive read of mortor teams firing in afghanistan onto enemy soldiers, getting shot at by an apache 30mm and still kept firing until they were eliminated.

make it so that the rounds in the tank are randomised, so between say 3-7 rounds(type maybe random too)

random locations perhaps if u want to go that far.

I like this idea..

Just i see the AT of all the Factions.

UK: TOW
USA: TOW
Militia: Zis WW2 Cannon (Zis-3 Maybe)
MEC: HJ8 (Or something like that)
China: HJ8
Insurgents: N/A.

So, why none? maybe for 2 reasons. Armed civilians doesnt have acces to Big AT Guns, they dont have time or command to prepare a basic defense of their place (So no Static AT would be deployed).. So, adding a wreck tank its not a bad idea, but we have to follow a little Story line

Lets use Basrah, in 0.5, Basrah was some kind of MEC vs USA, USA Wins and MEC retreats, some of them, infiltrated on the civilian population, starts to teach Civilians about modern Warfare, or their warfare. Then, Revolution (This is the map in 0.5, the MEC vs USA its not reprensented in game) somehow, MEC Leaders succesfully camouflaged tanks on abandoned factorys. USA its pulled back from the city and the Insurgents are getting stronger. As you can see, USA wins again, some heavy Armour vehicles are left on the desert. Near the city, not far from the VC, theres an abandoned tank.. sings of the last battle. Now, one or 2 Surviving T55 - T54 or whatever are put into "Static Defense Service".. and there you got..

I think PR is not following any storyline.. no?

Off Topic - Have you read that new APACHE book by Ed Macy by any chance?

Back on topic, I think that the abandoned tanks lying around are abandoned for a reason... Mainly because after a T55 is hit by an APFSDS round, there is not too much that is goint to be able to work. Not to mention all the seals and electronics that would be corroded or rusted etc, etc.
